Privacy notice

Last updated 12 August 2026

This notice explains how Pathfinder WMS handles personal data collected on pathfinderwms.co.uk. It is a working draft for legal review.

Who we are

Pathfinder WMS (“we”, “us”) provides warehouse management software to business customers. This website is a public marketing site. It does not provide access to customer warehouse systems.

What we collect

If you submit the demonstration request form we collect your name, company, email address, telephone number (if provided), role, warehouse context and message. We also receive technical data that your browser sends to our host (such as IP address and user agent) as part of delivering the site and protecting the form from abuse. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA; Google receives the data described in its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and terms (policies.google.com/terms). We do not publish the inbox that receives these requests.

Why we use it

We use demonstration-request data to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss a commercial engagement. The lawful basis is our legitimate interests in answering business enquiries, or steps toward a contract if you are looking to licence Pathfinder. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and legitimate record-keeping, then deleted or anonymised unless a customer relationship requires a longer retention.

Sharing

We use email infrastructure (for example Resend or an SMTP provider) to deliver form submissions to our inbox. Hosting and email processors act on our instructions. We do not publish a public list of customer warehouse URLs and this site does not log you into any warehouse system.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise rights in respect of this website, use the demonstration form or the contact details we provide in correspondence.

Cookies and analytics

This version of the site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Strictly necessary cookies or storage may be used by the host to operate the site. If we add analytics later, this notice and a cookie control will be updated first.

International transfers

Our email or hosting providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we expect an appropriate transfer mechanism (such as UK IDTA or EU SCCs) to be in place with that provider.

Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top of the page will change when we do. This draft is provided so the demonstration form can be used lawfully; it should be reviewed by your counsel before relying on it as a finished policy.
